| In 1982, a massive star ship that carries a bedraggled alien population, nicknamed Prawns, appeared over Johannesburg, South Africa. Twenty-eight years later, the initial welcome by the population has faded. refugee camp where the aliens were located has fallen in military ghetto called District 9, where placed and badly in squalor.
